We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to manage and grow our Industrial & Driving Temps desk. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-demand sector, where you’ll be connecting skilled workers with leading businesses. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring that we consistently deliver high-quality staffing solutions.
Total Employment was established in October 2000 and offers a one-stop recruitment solution specialising in the supply of temporary, permanent and interim staff to a variety of sectors. Being a franchise of the Pertemps Group the largest independent recruitment agency in the UK, we have total autonomy in the running of our business with the added benefit of security, financial and legal support from a large organisation.
Hours: 08:30am to 17:00pm - Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 + (Commisions & Bonus)
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Sourcing and placing suitable candidates into assignments.
* Advertising vacancies on the chosen job boards.
* Client and candidate relationship building.
* Maintain and actively grow the existing candidate pipeline.
* Meet with clients face-to-face to identify opportunities and qualify the requirements of roles.
* Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies
Key Skills, Experience & Attributes Required
* You ideally come from either a recruitment, sales or customer service backgroud.
* Knowledge of MS packages (Word, Excel)
* Excellent people skills.
* Communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to speak another language would be advantageous.
* Must be confident over the phone.
* Must be self motivated with a real desire and hunger to be successful.
* Full UK driving licence.
