Registered Nurse

Location: Trentham, Stoke on Trent

Salary: £22.09 per hour + paid breaks + paid handover

Nights Available - up to 48 hours

Time Recruitment is searching for an experienced Registered Nurse for a small independent specialist dementia provider that has recently expanded and renovated in the Trentham area of Stoke on Trent.

The service has a traditional feel from the grounds and the front but has had a modern and extensive refurbishment; the service has already won the dignity in care awards in Staffordshire, was a caring UK awards finalist and has received gold standard framework accreditation all in 2023 alone with the same ongoing high standards doing into 2024!

This award-winning service boasts excellent staff nurse to patient ratios with 4 nurses on days and nights alongside CHAPS and high number of care staff covering the following units:

22 beds general nursing

18 beds general nursing with some challenging behaviours

20 bedded palliative care unit

30 bedded elderly/frail nursing unit

Duties for the role of Registered Nurse include:

- Care planning and assessment

- Medication management and auditing

- Therapeutic intervention and care delivery for dementia residents

- Palliative/end of life care

The service benefits from an array of consistent staff and holds an excellent reputation in the local area; with many staff working 5 + years in the service; the registered manager is nurse trained and offers excellence in clinical guidance and leadership.
