The Role and Ideal Candidate

A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field (a teaching qualification is preferred).

Proven experience in teaching English, either through previous employment or teacher training placements.

Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons across various key stages, incorporating both literary analysis and creative writing.

Confident in teaching various aspects of English with an emphasis on fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for reading and writing.

Committed to creating an inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities and encourages active participation.
