Senior Quantity Surveyor
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Oxford. The business is a regional contractor who operate out of several offices across the country, including one based in Oxford. They undertake projects across a range of sectors including commercial, education, residential and care typically valuing up to £20mil. Projects are administered via JCT and NEC forms of contract.
About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the commercial team, managing your own projects valuing up to £20mil. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for the support and mentoring of more junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Be involved in pre-contract activities including the 2-stage tender process
Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
Take full responsibility of all sub-contract packages from procurement to final account
Undertake monthly CVRs
Support / mentor junior members of staff on the team
Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
Have a proven track record of managing projects valuing up to £20mil
Have an in-depth knowledge of JCT forms of contract (NEC is beneficial)
Be an ambitious and driven individual
Live within a commutable distance to Oxford and have the full right to work in the UK.
