VGC Group are looking for experienced Joiner to start on a project in Manchester.

Salary: £19.26 Per Hour PAYE

Qualifications: Blue CSCS NVQ Level 2 in Formwork / Shuttering

Joiner with suitable shuttering experience

Your role as a Joiner will be based in Manchester and will consist of:

Use architectural and engineering drawings, as well as specifications, to determine the dimensions, shape, and layout of the formwork required for a particular concrete structure.
Build formwork according to the specified dimensions and shape outlined in the plans. This involves cutting, shaping, and joining the materials to create molds to contain the poured concrete.
Set up the formwork in its designated position, ensuring that it is securely anchored and properly aligned. This involves using a variety of tools and equipment, such as hammers, nails, screws, and braces, to assemble and fasten the formwork components.
Once the concrete has sufficiently cured and attained the required strength, the shuttering carpenter / Joiner dismantles the formwork. This process involves carefully removing the formwork components without damaging the hardened concrete structure.
Based in Manchester remuneration for this role is £19.26 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
