Job Title: Trade Counter Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 + Benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday with alternating Saturdays & Sundays

Job Overview
My client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Trade Counter Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the trade operations, ensuring efficient communication and organisation within the department.

Role responsibilities:

* Greet and serve all Trade Counter customers.

* Develop and grow a customer base.

* Monitor sales to ensure targets are met.

* Building an excellent knowledge of our brands and products to better advise customers.

* Regularly rotating layout within Trade Counter area to provide new points of interest for repeat customers.

* Working with the marketing team on promotions and special offers.

* Working with the ecommerce team to promote stock on online sales platforms.

* Ensure all work is carried out within appropriate Health and Safety guidelines.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in running a trade counter, Building Merchants experience is advantageous

* Knowledge of building materials

* Target driven with sales focus
