Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Engineer

A leading company in the renewable, offshore, and oil & gas sectors, are seeking a dedicated QHSE Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement

Provide training and guidance to staff on QHSE matters, promoting a culture of safety and quality

Investigate incidents, non-conformities, and near misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented promptly

Maintain up-to-date QHSE documentation and records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with project teams to ensure QHSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution

Liaise with external bodies, clients, and suppliers regarding QHSE matters, representing the company's interests professionally

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a QHSE role, preferably within a similar industry (renewables, offshore, oil & gas etc.)

In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

Proven experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and train staff at all levels

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with QHSE management software
