Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Analytics &
Insights team in the UK. As an Analyst, you will work with a variety of quantitative and qualitative datasets to identify trends, observations and insights that will be informative and inspiring to clients across a range of industries and sectors. As we continue to expand, we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

Data Acquisition, Analysis and Insights
Create and deliver regular reports using data obtained through traditional, online, and social media analysis techniques.
Analyse datasets of varying complexity and summarise key trends and observations in a
concise and intuitive way.
Interrogate quantitative data to develop qualitative insights appropriate to the relevant audience.
Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on media analysis to support client decision-making.
Work on content aggregation tasks to curate high quality datasets that will help address the research objectives.
Communication, Collaboration and Professionalism
Present clear and concise insights and make data-driven recommendations that are free from grammatical errors and appropriate for the target audience.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and within project teams to ensure alignment, and efficient, accurate and timely delivery of analytics and insights services.
Plan and monitor your time effectively, and support resourcing and project teams by bringing solutions, not problems, to the table.
Aspire to communicate and consult with clients, building relationships that maintain and promote engagement with our services.
Problem Solving & Quality Assurance
Design analytics solutions that respond to client briefs and align with client objectives from initial set up through to regular reporting through to ad-hoc requests.
Continuously assess and improve analytical solutions and associated processes to ensure client satisfaction and efficiency.
Conduct quality checks on data, reports, and processes before delivery to clients, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Further your understanding of how to use industry leading media analysis tools and expand your  expertise in digital data exploration software.
Be proactive in progressing your own development, setting and pursuing training goals that
contribute towards personal and company growth.

Skills required:

Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
Proficient in data visualisation
Good presentation skills
Proficient knowledge of MS suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Good knowledge of Boolean logic
Experience with media research & listening tools (such as Talkwalker, Meltwater,
Fanpage Karma, Buzz Sumo, Signal AI, Factiva etc.)
Strong attention to detail
An interest and curiosity for research and innovation
A strong team player who can lead where required
Organised and open to adopting new processes to get things done
Desired:

Industry experiences using media data to solve research problems
Master's degree in a relevant field
Second language (major European, Mandarin, Arabic, etc.)
Experience with large data sets and knowledge of statistical analysis
Experience with Tableau and/or other data visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI or      Looker/Looker Studio
Experience with BigQuery
R/Python/SQL
