About the Maintenance Engineer opportunity
 
My client produce and package Food & Beverage products at their site Oldham and they are looking for an Electrically-biased Multi-Skilled Shift Technician who will be responsible for looking after Maintenance, Repair and Continuous Improvement of a busy FMCG site.
 
Maintenance Engineer Deliverables

Provide Engineering Support for production activities, including Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdowns
Maintenance and Repair of machines such as; Packers, Flow wrappers, Box Erectors, Over Wrapping, Sheeters, Extruders, Mixers and Conveyors
Provide electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process maintenance cover Maintenance Engineer Person Requirements

Time-served Mechanical / Electrical Engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum
At least 3 years’ experience in FMCG industry
PLC fault-finding experience
TIG Welding
Understanding of pneumatic systems Tags
