Our client based near St. Ives is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm. This is a great opportunity to join an established local business who offer training and career progression.

Responsibilities

In this role as a Health & Safety Officer, you will be responsible day to day for a varied workload including:-

* Undertaking inspections on site

* You will conduct performance monitoring and compliance

* Responsible for ensuring staff / employees adhere to H & S practices

* Produce Health & Safety reports

* Conducting risk assessments

* Assisting with compilation of the comapny Health & Safety strategy

Skills required

To be considered for the role of Health & Safety Officer, you will have:-

* Nebosh Level 3 or equivalent

* Experience of creating and maintaining H & S policies, processes and risk assessments

* You will have a background within warehousing / logistics / manufacturing or similar

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse at all levels.

* Own transport is required due to location
