An Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary school based in Liverpool (L16) are looking for a bright and bubbly Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic school, supporting pupils within a Year 5 classroom with ASD and ADHD. Experience preferred but NOT required!
The role:
- Working as a Teaching Assistant within a Year 5 classroom, supporting pupils with ASD & ADHD
- Hours 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Based within an Ofsted rated 'Good' 1-form entry school in Birkenhead
- Pay rates between £90.00 - £100.00 per day
The responsibilities:
- You will be working alongside the class teacher, supporting pupils and teacher both inside and outside the classroom
- Possessing a resilient attitude with good behaviour management techniques
- Undertaking admin tasks such as photocopying and playground duty
- Taking small groups of children for planned interventions such as phonics sessions
- Working 1:1 with children who require extra support with their curriculum-based learning
- Creating eye-catching displays for the classroom
- Upholding the school's ethos, contributing positively to children's education.
- Fostering a love of learning within ALL pupils.
