Position:           CNC Turner Setter/Operator

Location:          Derby

Hours:               Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm

Pay Rate:          £15 - £18 per hour

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our clients team on a full time basis, capable of setting up and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role is ideal for someone with a meticulous approach and a “right-first-time” attitude who is eager to contribute to a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning machines with precision

Interpret technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications

Run multiple turning machines as needed to maximize productivity

Produce small batches of high-quality parts, focusing on accuracy

Evaluate and improve processes to enhance productivity
About You

Proven experience with CNC turning machines, particularly with Fanuc controls

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Proficient in self-inspection of finished work

Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines

Able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high quality standards
