As a Primary Supply Teacher or PPA Cover Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons, managing classrooms effectively, and ensuring students thrive academically. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of schools, helping to create positive and dynamic learning environments.

Primary Supply Teachers and PPA Cover Staff Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to primary-aged students in the absence of the class teacher.
Provide PPA cover and maintain high-quality teaching standards across year groups.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Build strong relationships with students and staff across different schools.
Mark and provide feedback on student work, where required.
Adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of students.
Ensure classroom resources are used effectively to enhance the learning experience.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive school environment, following safeguarding policies.
Support school-wide initiatives, including extracurricular activities, when required.

Requirements that we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Education, Psychology or in a similar field.
Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as a Primary Supply Teacher and PPA Cover Staff.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to new school settings and year groups.
A commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering student success.
Knowledge of the national curriculum and its application across primary education.
A positive and proactive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply for one.
Ability to commute to Dorking
