Opportunities like this are few and far between. We seek a talented Head of Procurement who can bring procurement best practice and excellence to our client.

As the senior procurement leader in the business you’ll ensure the supply chain is robust, efficient and sustainable, delivering value for both the company and it’s customers. We require someone who not only knows what great looks like in terms of procurement but who can also lead a team through the change management process – from being transactional to achieving procurement excellence through category management. You’ll work with the MD to align the procurement strategy with the overall business strategy, consolidate and reshape the supplier base and build a high performing team.

The business operates in the consumer products space and procurement spend is approx. £100m per annum. You’ll lead a team of circa 15-20 colleagues. We seek people with experience within a similar sized operation and from a products based business, whether that be FMCG, food, drink or industrial components and manufacturing. You’ll be an experienced procurement leader, used to leading teams and with a track record of success – you’ll enjoy the challenge of driving change and be well versed in switching from being strategic to rolling up your sleeves and being hands on to deliver results.
