Role: Cutting Table Operative

Location: Halifax

Salary: £12.21, Temp – Perm

XCL Group are currently recruiting for a well-known, and reputable textile company in Halifax. Growing year upon year, with customers both national and international, they are looking for an experienced Cutting Table Operative who can join their team.

This role is a temporary – permanent basis, and salary will be dependant on experience and discussed at interview. The role would be ideal for an individual from a textile background, who is fine with manual handling of heavier materials, and able to run a number of machinery at once.

The main duties of the role will be, but not limited to:

Operating the cutting table following measurements and cutting fabric to size

Loading and unloading materials

Constant quality checking of products and spotting any faults quickly

Following instructions carefully, and ensuring products created are to specification.

Be able to work to production targets

Preferred Skills/ Experience:

Comfortable with manual handling materials up to 25kg

Excellent eye for detail

Able to work in a fast paced role, and able to run number of machines at once.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday

7am – 5pm

Overtime available
