Temporary /Interim Property Manager – c£40k – Surrey / Sussex (non-coastal) – Home based

Are you an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager (Block Management sector) in between jobs or seeking a temporary position whilst considering your next move?

Would you like to work home based focused on site visitation and contractor management (no budgeting, AGM’s or S20) whilst providing reports and insight back to a central head office??

Our client is a major property services group active across the private, social and retirement leasehold sectors.

Whilst seeking to hire a permanent Area Manager for a retirement portfolio (for which applicants to this role can be considered), they are looking to recruit an interim/temporary property manager (so as not to fall behind with site inspections / SLA’s) as follows:

* Working home based, Mon-Fri 9-5, covering sites across West London, Surrey and Sussex

* Only focused on site visits and contractor management (no budget setting etc.)

* Reporting back to head office with concerns and updates

* Ensuring H&S and maintenance/repairs are in keeping with SLA’s so that future hires are not starting with a backlog

* You will need to offer short availability (i.e. no more than a month), have a vehicle (mileage reimbursed) and be prepared to travel across a wide portfolio of sites as required

* Some exposure to retirement sites would be beneficial, but this isn’t essential

* You will have solid experience of contractor management, maintenance and H&S with broad, general leasehold understanding

The successful Interim Property Manager can expect a basic salary up to £40k to start with priority consideration for the permanent position (paying £44k) if they do well/are keen.
