A large G15 housing association is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will:
* Have a strong background in procurement, preferably in the housing sector
* Possess excellent knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR 2015) and various procurement procedures
* Be experienced in delivering complex above-threshold tenders and utilising Find a Tender (FTS) compliant frameworks
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Be a team player capable of adapting to fluctuating workloads and assisting colleagues when required
* Have up-to-date knowledge of new procurement regulations and changes
The role involves:
* Leading complex procurement projects across the organisation
* Developing and implementing procurement strategies
* Independently delivering a wide range of procurement projects through various procedures
* Ensuring compliance and driving commercial thinking throughout the business
* Working closely with the Senior Procurement Manager to maximise the organisation's spending power
