Maintenance Technician – Warehouse

About the job
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Warehouse Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Crick Warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance and upkeep of our warehouse equipment, conveyor systems and general site facilities. If you have a hands-on approach and enjoy keeping things in top condition, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Warehouse Maintenance Technician you will:

Quickly identify and fix equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly.

*

Perform regular checks and monthly PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks on conveyor systems and other warehouse equipment to minimise downtime and keep everything running safely and efficiently.

*

Support operational planning and productivity by maintaining accurate and reliable equipment.

*

Lead smaller maintenance projects with clear timelines to improve equipment performance and safety.

*

Help promote a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines and supporting a 5S culture.

*

Document maintenance processes and assist in training others to support effective and safe practices.

*

Share your knowledge and help train others on maintenance processes.

In order to set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:

*

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician ideally in a warehouse or logistics setting.

*

Knowledge of conveyor systems, mechanical, and electrical systems.

*

Good communication skills, a strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others.

*

Understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance and experience in carrying out regular scheduled maintenance.

*

Awareness of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.

*

PC Literate – confidently use Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.

*

A forklift license and health and safety certifications are beneficial, though not required.
