Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Gateshead
Pay: £100 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Daily Supply, Long Term

We are recruiting for a fantastic Primary School in Gateshead and are looking for a creative Primary Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team.

We are looking for Primary Teachers with a passion for teaching Key Stage 2. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply. The school prides itself on being a welcoming place to work, where staff are supportive, and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

Support pupils' learning through the national curriculum
Teach and manage a lively class
Work with a teaching assistant to provide extra support when needed
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons
Use assessments to monitor and track progress
Plan and assess phonics following the school's program
Promote independence and confidence in pupils
Provide excellent safeguarding and pastoral care
The ideal candidate for Primary Teacher will:

Have a UK-recognised Primary Teaching qualification
Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring
Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
Have a fully checkable work history
