Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs
 
Location: South Gloucestershire
 
Pay: £90 - £105 per day

ANZUK Education is seeking compassionate and adaptable Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEND TAs) to support children with Special Educational Needs across South Gloucestershire. We work with an array of mainstream Primary and Secondary schools as well as Specialised Provisions who are in need of SEND TA's to support children with EHCP's. You will have the opportunity to work in highly respected schools that support children and young people with Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autism, and Sensory Impairment.

International teaching opportunities in Australia and New Zealand Key Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role:

Provide tailored support to pupils with Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autism, and Sensory Impairment
Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt resources to meet the needs of each pupil
Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support the holistic development of pupils
Be flexible and adaptable to work across multiple sites and varying classroom settings What do you need for this Teaching Assistant role?

Have experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs, particularly those with severe or profound learning difficulties
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with pupils who require additional support
Be adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations as needed
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills to build positive relationships with school staff and external professionals
