CNC Miller

Here at Impact Recruitment, we are hiring for one of our clients based in Rugby. They are a well-established precision engineering firm that has been operating for several decades, supplying high-quality, bespoke components across various industries, including Oil and Gas.

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to operate a 4-axis Starrag Mill using Heidenhain controls to manufacture precision-engineered parts and components.

Salary: £19.11 per hour (£39,744 per annum)

Hours: 2pm - 12am (Monday - Thursday)

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Job Duties:

Operate and set a 4-axis Starrag Mill to produce bespoke precision components.
Work on small batch sizes (typically 1-5 pieces), ensuring high accuracy and quality.
Use Heidenhain controls, making necessary edits and adjustments when required.
Ensure all components meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years' experience working with CNC milling machines.
Essential: Strong experience with Heidenhain controls.
Ability to set and operate CNC machines independently.
Programming experience is not required, but the ability to edit and adjust programs is beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
