Our client is a major manufacturer of plastic products with numerous sites across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Process Technician for their injection moulding operation in Rutland.

Reporting to the shift manager working Monday - Friday 2pm – 10pm, your role will be responsible for maximising the output of quality product from the moulding operation whilst maintaining the areas to ensure efficiencies and targets are achieved.

On a day to day basis you will:

* Manage all aspects of setting and running moulding machines to maximise the output of quality product.

* Perform safety checks for the department

* Undertake regular quality checks.

* Continuously drive waste reduction.

* Look for marginal process improvements.

Who would suit this role:

We are looking for someone who has a proven history within injection moulding ideally having operated as Technician, Setter or Operator previously. You should also have experience of carrying out full tool changes, setting up production machines with the ability to fault find and resolve issues.
