Our client, a financial institution based in London is recruiting a Trainee Banking Compliance to join their team.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to work within a small team covering a broad area of duties.
Responsibilities:
* Identifying the regulatory, including financial crime, risks faced;
* The design and implementation of the policies and procedures, systems and controls that constitute the compliance and prevention of financial crime programs and their related activities designed to prevent unethical, or improper conduct;
* Monitoring the effectiveness of those systems and controls;
* The provision of training and guidance to management and employees
Skills/Experience:
* A Bachelor degree or above, ideally of a legal or business related educational background;
* 3- 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within the financial industry is preferred
* Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin will be an advantage but not required
