We are recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer to join our Registration Team and support the implementation and delivery of the new quality assurance framework. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is highly motivated, has a keen eye for detail, is proactive, creative and passionate about quality assurance. The role will support the continued delivery of excellent registration services, which is an important part of how we protect the public at HCPC.
Purpose and Main Duties
To support the development and implementation and delivery of a new quality assurance framework; design audit tools; undertake audit activities; improve systems, processes and procedures, complete timely and accurate reports; identify areas for improvement; work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders; and support the development of continual improvement of the work within the registration department quality team.
Candidate Requirements
Educated to a degree level and/or relevant knowledge and understanding
Experience of conducting quality audits, reviews, providing timely and effective feedback to colleagues to manage risk and drive improvements
Ability to gather, analyse and report on data, information and feedback
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A high level of written English and oral communication skills.
Ability to work and effectively communicate with all colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to work independently
Ability to produce high quality reports and present information in the most appropriate format and ensure accuracy.
Excellent IT skills, including window-based software packages, in particular high-level use of ExcelAbout the Department

The Registration Department provides services relating to people joining the HCPC Register and maintaining their registration with the HCPC. Without HCPC registration an individual cannot lawfully work in the UK in one of the 15 professions we regulate.
