This individual will oversee and lead the HR function for a busy engineering manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and development, ensuring adherence to HR laws and regulations, and fostering a strong culture within the organisation.
Responsibilities for Head of Human Resources
- Oversee the management and operations of the HR department
- Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations across the business as a whole
- Drive continuous improvement and development within the organisation
- Enable positive organisational changes through well-honed change management skills
- Build and nurture a strong positive culture within the business
- Foster positive and encouraging organisational growth
- Communicate effectively between company executives and management teams
- Collaborate Internationally, sharing best practices with counterparts
- Implement performance management, succession planning, and talent management strategies
- Enhance employee performance through training and organisational effectiveness
Qualifications for Head of Human Resources
- Degree in Human Resources
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 certification
- Extensive HR management experience, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Leadership skills with an ability to work in an International HR environment
