Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne & Wear
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £39k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a leading Environmental outfit, with a strong UK-wide presence. They are recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor in the North East of England, who will need to be able to hit the ground running. You will be joining a busy and friendly outfit who strives to support their staff with further training opportunities. Applicants must be flexible to travel as company requirements may change. Client sites are based around: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Washington, Sunderland, Seaham, Houghton-le-Spring, Durham, Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Hartlepool, Prudhoe, Hexham, Whitley Bay, South Shields, North Shields, Yarm, Middlesborough, Thornaby, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Northallerton, Richmond, Catterick.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Ideally will have worked for an established Legionella / Water Hygiene company
- Good knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 standards
- Must hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate

The Role:
- Completing detailed Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Working across a range of commercial, local authority and public sector sites
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Writing comprehensive reports to advise on compliance risks and recommended action
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and answer technical queries
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Supporting the training of new members of staff
