We are a medium-sized secondary school with a vibrant community of learners, dedicated staff, and a strong emphasis on fostering creativity. Our music department is an integral part of our school’s culture, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire our students aged 11-18.

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach music across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, nurturing students' talent and love for music. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to our extracurricular activities, including school concerts, choir, and other musical events.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality music lessons to students aged 11-18

* Plan and implement engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum

* Prepare students for music exams and performances, including GCSE and A-Level

* Promote participation in extracurricular music activities

* Contribute to the wider school community and school events

* Maintain and manage music resources effectively

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)

* Have experience teaching music to secondary school students (ages 11-18)

* Be passionate about music and education, with the ability to engage and inspire students

* Have excellent classroom management skills

* Be able to start immediately or within a short notice period
