Food Technology Teacher - Stockport - January start

Prospero Teaching is looking for a qualified Food Technology Teacher to join a 'good' secondary school in Stockport on a full time basis from January until July 2025.

This position is open to ECTs or experienced teachers. It is essential that you have experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school.

You will be required to deliver excellent and engaging lessons to KS3 & KS4 pupils. Attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise.

Food Technology Teacher Information:

The position is open to both Food Technology ECTs and experienced Food Technology teachers.

Food Technology is taught to all year groups from 7 till 11.

Food Technology Teacher Experience, Training and Qualification:

QTS or equivalent
PGCE / SCITT / GTP / B.Ed
Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school
Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training provided by Prospero)
Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training is provided by Prospero)
FGM training (essential, however training can be provided)
Hold an enhanced DBS that is on the update service, or, be willing to obtain a new DBS.
