TXM Recruit are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Duty Fleet Manager (DFM) to play a key role in ensuring that the fleet is maintained to the highest standards of availability, safety, and reliability. This role will focus on managing the operational impact of faults in the fleet, ensuring that issues are mitigated quickly and efficiently to minimize disruption to customers. The role will also act as a liaison between control staff and service representatives, always maintaining fleet engineering best practices.

This role has a variety of responsibilities including:
• Fleet Performance & Management: Ensure fleet availability, quality, and safety standards by managing the Fleet Maintainer and overseeing daily operational requirements, including defect resolution and repair coordination.
• System Maintenance & Reporting: Maintain and update relevant systems, availability spreadsheet and EnergyX system, to track fleet status, location, and billing.
• Defect & Incident Monitoring: Ensure detailed work orders are raised for defects, monitor fleet defects and safety-related incidents, and ensure timely action is taken for any issues.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Collaborate with SRS UK, MCRC, and third-party services to ensure timely repairs and maintenance, and ensure all units are rotated and repaired as needed.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain safety logs, and handle National Incident Reports, while ensuring the well-being of the fleet team and reporting any accidents or safety concerns.

Role Essentials
Experience: Previous experience managing an operations team in a high-pressure environment.
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, rules and regulations, IOSH, fire safety, and core management skills.
• Skills: Proficiency in TRUST, GEMINI, and CCTV systems (on train).
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to company safety policies and procedures, with a commitment to the safety of all team members and customers.

As the Duty Fleet Manager, safety is paramount. You will be responsible for adhering to and promoting safety practices and policies within the team and ensuring that any incidents are reported and addressed swiftly.
