The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes: -

Skills/Qualifications:

* Educated to Degree / HND level in Food Science / Food technology or related subject

* A thorough understanding of food safety processes and procedures, including a working knowledge of HACCP.

* A clear understanding of sensory analysis

* Exemplary written and oral communication skills.

* Ability to work & influence across key functions within NFF

* Proficient IT skills in all applications.

* Strong organizational skills

Experience:

* Experience of working and supporting an R&D function within the baking sector.

* Experience of operating at a level within an organization, where strategic development and planning have been required and demonstrated.

* Demonstrable record of achievement on delivering projects within an R&D function

* Conducted industrial size trials, collection of data and reporting of results

* Working in a cross functional team

* Knowledge of project management

* Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage and influence with key functions of the business.
