Senior Service Desk Engineer - £35,000 to £40,000 Watford/ hybrid
VIQU have partnered with an IT solutions provider who specialise in IT infrastructure, managed services, consultancy, software solutions and cybersecurity. They cater to a wide variety of industries, offering services to meet client requirements and enhance efficiency, reduce costs and leverage technology.
They are seeking a Senior Service Desk Engineer to provide second line and third-line technical support and maintenance on-site and remotely with a focus on desktop, server and infrastructure support.
The Senior Service Desk Engineer will benefit from hybrid working of 3 days onsite and 2 days from once they pass probation.
This position will be the escalation point for the service desk and also working directly with customers.
Essential Requirements of the Senior Service Desk Engineer:
- 2 + years in an IT support role working at a 2nd/ 3rd line level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Server operating systems and associated technologies - Windows server / Windows desktop, Office 365, Active Directory
- Knowledgeable about cloud services, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune
- Certified in Microsoft fundamentals
- Possess strong IT skills with a keen interest in technology.
- Excellent communication abilities
