Our client is a leading EPA (End Point Assessment) and Awarding Organisation specializing in qualifications and assessments across sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, hospitality, and marine. As a not-for-profit organisation, they are expanding their team to support a growing customer base in the further and adult education sector. As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth through retention and upselling. You will focus on both EPA and qualification products, promoting the brand and maximising opportunities across a diverse client base. This is a client-centric role that requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach.
Remote with periodic travel to York and client sites (frequent travel and overnight stays required).
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Manage and grow assigned accounts through regular engagement.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing issues and ensuring satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
* Develop and implement plans to achieve client retention and growth targets.
* Track and report key account metrics, including client satisfaction and revenue growth.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client experiences.
* Support marketing efforts with case studies and social media content.
* Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
Requirements:
* Level 2 Maths and English qualifications.
* Full, current UK driving licence and own vehicle.
* Proven account management experience (minimum 3 years).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
* Experience with CRM systems and account management strategies.
* Track record of meeting business growth and retention targets.
* Basic understanding of apprenticeship policy, EPA, and qualifications market in England.
* Desirable: Level 6 qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business Development.
