Contracts Manager (MEP)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Car Allowance

Location: Leighton Buzzard with visits to various sites across Kent (Hybrid Working Options)

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Contracts/Project Manager to direct plumbing and mechanical projects within a large construction portfolio. This role is essential for ensuring seamless project execution, from planning and scheduling to delivery, adhering strictly to quality and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities for Contracts / Project Management

* Oversee and manage all phases of plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

* Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate tasks among various teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any arising issues promptly.

* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and designers to deliver projects that meet expectations and specifications.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations at every project stage.

* Maintain thorough project documentation and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications for a Contracts Manager

* Proven experience in project/contracts management, particularly within the plumbing and/or construction industry and within new-build residential plumbing developments.

* Strong understanding of plumbing systems, building codes, and safety practices.

* Experience handling multiple sites in an office-based environment.

* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

* Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Skills

* Experience managing multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously.

* Familiarity with sustainability practices in plumbing projects.
