Job Title: Learning and Behaviour Mentor – SEND School (Full-Time)

Location: Bolton

Salary: £95 per day

Description: Value Education is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Behaviour Mentor to join a dedicated and vibrant SEND school in Bolton. If you are passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs, this full-time role could be the perfect match for you!

In this rewarding position, you will provide essential support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

Build positive relationships with students to boost their confidence and engagement.
Implement tailored strategies for behaviour management and emotional support.
Work alongside teaching staff to adapt classroom activities for individual needs.
Mentor students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges to support their progress and development.
Help maintain a structured, nurturing learning atmosphere.
Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking an enthusiastic, resilient, and proactive professional with:

Experience in SEND or PRU environments (preferred, but training is available).
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with both students and staff.
A patient and adaptable approach to managing behaviour and fostering inclusion.
A genuine passion for empowering young people to achieve their full potential.
