Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school in Aylesbury. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and is eager to contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery, and classroom management.

* Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support to help students achieve their academic and personal development goals.

* Support children with special educational needs (SEN) by adapting learning materials and activities to suit individual needs.

* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.

* Foster a safe and engaging learning environment.

* Supervise students during break times, lunchtimes, and school trips.

Requirements:

* Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (preferred).

* A genuine interest in helping children reach their full potential.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

* Relevant qualifications or training (desirable).
