Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor to work for a company based in Hartlepool.

This is a full-time and permanent position.

Role:

* Supervise a small team

* Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls using Brightpay software

* Calculate and process statutory deductions

* Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies

* Collaborate with team to improve payroll processes.

* Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and internal policies and processes

Background:

* Proven experience working within a payroll bureau or accountancy practice at supervisor level

* Proficiency in the use of Brightpay software

* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, especially with the use of formulae

* Deep understanding of UK payroll regulations

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable:

* Experience using CCH Central (particularly CCH Document Management and CCH OneClick)

* Experience using Generative-AI tools
