Wanted immediately- Health & Wellbeing officer for a College based in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

A large Colleges based in Rhondda Cynon Taf are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Officer to support the work of the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team with students who are vulnerable or have emerging wellbeing or welfare needs.

An important task is to work with students with difficult or challenging circumstances and provide therapeutic strategies and support for those in need. The role will provide a link between the College’s team of pastoral tutors by supporting learners with interventions and signposting to internal and external services when needed.

Key skills and competencies for the role:

Educated to a minimum NQF level 3, or substantial relevant experience that demonstrates a high order of literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
Proficiency in working with standard office applications such as Outlook, MS Word, and Teams.
Relevant training in therapeutic mental health support such as Thrive.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
The ability to operate a computerised administrative system / database
