The Package :

Salary £40K - £50K
29 days holiday
Pension - 4%
Hours - day time - Mon - Fri

The Role:

The Transport Operations Manager will be Supervising drivers and 10 office staff dealing with UK road haulage mainly to and from ports.
The Transport Operations Manager will ensure the team will effectively plan vehicle routes by fully utilising own vehicles to the required levels of customer service, whilst also adhering to Drivers hours legislation and maintenance requirements.
The Transport Operations Manager will issue drivers with clear instruction and react to any changing situation
Manage vehicle routing processes at minimum cost to successfully deliver customer requirements
Transport technical and operational knowledge and experience; experience and ability to manage a large team of drivers in a fast-moving operational environment.

Requirements:

Experience managing a UK Road Transport function
Experience as a senior or leading a team in transport
Managers CPC / O'Licence holder
