We are working with a lovely primary school in Milton Keynes who require a part time Year 1 class teacher, 3 days a week starting the beginning of December 2024.

This role is long term supply, for a maternity cover, 3 days a week, Wednesday - Friday with no additional responsblities. All planning and preperation will be provided by the school and the successful candidate will only be expected to mark lessons.

The role is starting at the beginning of December until February half term initially with scope to continue until the end of the academic year. This is a great role for a qualified Key Stage 1 teacher who is looking to work part time within a dedicated and friendly enviroment without the paperwork that comes with teaching your own class!

The requirements -

To be a successful Year 1 teacher you will need to;

* Be a Qualified Teacher holding QTS with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education. NQTs/ECTs also welcome to apply

* Have the ability and experience of working within Key Stage 1

* Be adaptable to all working surroundings

* Inspire and have a passion to educate

* Behaviour management skills

* Strong classroom presence

* Be commited and reliable
