The role – Behaviour Mentor

I am working with a SEN school based in Lewisham that are looking for a new Behaviour Mentor to join their team! In this role you will be working with key stage 3 students out of class, and you must be an approachable, enthusiastic and confident person with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students. As a Behaviour Mentor you must have strong behaviour management skills and an understanding of working with Social Emotional Mental Health needs, you may be required to use de – escalation techniques and team teach. To be considered for this role you must have experience working with challenging behaviour and have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

The school – SEN

The school is based in Lewisham and caters for students aged 11 – 16 years old. They offer students the opportunity to receive a broad, exciting and personalised timetable that allows them to gain the skills and qualifications they need to progress to college, university or employment. They have great transport links with local bus routes and a local train station.
