Location: Peterborough

Salary: £55,000

Duration: 6 month FTC

Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a social housing organisation, based in Peterborough with their recruitment of a Head of Housing.

As the Head of Housing Services, your role is critical in driving high performance across the regional housing services function. You will be responsible for strategic leadership, ensuring service areas like Income Management, Tenancy Management, and Anti-Social Behaviour meet and exceed expectations

What will you do in the role?

* You will lead and manage a team of generic housing professionals managing a range of services, including Income Management, Tenancy and Neighbourhood Management and ASB Management, and Complaints.

* Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of high performance and accountability, conducting regular one to ones and performance appraisals, and ensuring personal development

* You will ensure all service standards are met, with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement, maintaining expertise in housing policies and regulations

* You will act as the key contact for external strategic partners, overseeing the management and evaluation of outcomes from service agreements, and you will represent Accent in external engagements, including MP enquiries and public relations

* You will oversee budget management and resource allocation, ensuring efficient spend and assessing return on investment to meet organizational objectives

* Proven track record of leading a service area or multi-disciplinary team, achieving results through customer-focused services

* Strong experience in budget management, with a focus on delivering cost-effective services and assessing risks
