Transport clerk/planner

£12.60 per hour

7am-3:30pm (40 hours per week)

7am- 3pm (37.5 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting an experienced Transport Planner to join our client, a well-established business within the Wednesbury area. The successful candidate will be willing to relocate to their new location in Litchfield around summer time.

Job specifications:

Complete all the route planning
Allocating vehicles and drivers effectively
Create delivery manifests and plan stores’ deliveries
Working closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams
The successful candidate:

Needs to be very computer literate
Have experience in a fast-paced logistics environment
Have great communication and multitasking abilities
Have planning experience (desirable)
Be operationally minded and very organized
Be calm under pressure with a proactive mindset
Be willing to step in and assist with other office admin tasks in between planning duties when required
