Job Description
My client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their expanding team, following continuous growth.
Role Overview:
Lead all aspects of Technical and Quality Management. The role requires compliance with food safety legislation, ISO 22000, and BRC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards, focusing on BRC and ISO accreditation.
* Develop and implement the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
* Improve manufacturing facility operational effectiveness.
* Review non-conformances and customer complaints.
* Manage internal audit schedules.
* Maintain technical documentation and specifications.
* Approve and audit suppliers, maintaining an approved database.
* Lead and develop the Technical Department.
* Advise on food safety, hygiene, labelling, and health and safety legislation.
* Maintain the company’s AA-grade BRC accreditation status.
Qualifications:
* Experience in a similar role within the food industry.
* Training/qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and internal auditing.
* Familiarity with ERP-based manufacturing environments
