Motor Vehicle Technician

Here at Tottington Mot Centre Ltd, we are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician, to join our growing small family business and motivated team.

The successful candidate must have indepth knowledge of a variety of vehicles, including both the motor and mechanical elements, the ability to work individually and as a team, to have an enthusiastic approach to resolving vehicle problems and to have excellent customer care skills.

Motor Vehicle Technician Key Responsibilities:

* To be able to undertake services and maintenance repair to vehicles to the highest standard.

* To be able to remove and fit engines, clutches and gearboxes.

* To be able to carry out road tests to identify potential issues or to ensure proper functioning after repairs.

* To be able to work effective and efficiently.

* To effectively time manage and be able to meet deadlines.

* To be able to organise workload.

* To ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times.

* To ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.

* Maintain a clean working environment.

Required education and skills

* Level 3 motor vehicle qualification.

* Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a motor vehicle technician.

* Future opportunity for Mot training will be provided, to develop your skills and advance your career within our company.

* Full UK driving licence is essential.

Salary to be discussed.

Job Type: Full time, permanent.

Hours

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Saturday 9am – 12:30pm
