Management Accountant - £40,000 - £45,000 - Bury St Edmunds - Hybrid

A reputable business with headquarters based in Bury St Edmunds are on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis!

Working in a team of 4 and reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for generating financial information while working with department heads with the following responsibilities:

• Ensure timely monthly accounts closing and reporting to group deadlines.
• Work closely and partner with department heads to provide financial insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain full balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
• Assist the Financial Manager in ensuring budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis are produced in a timely manner and are fit for purpose.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and capex reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses.
• Contribute to Group financial process improvement and maintain controls integrity.
• Oversee stock control and provide operational support to ensure financial accuracy.
• Present monthly P&L to stakeholders.
• Perform quarterly intercompany reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will hold an ACCA OR CIMA qualification (finalist of qualified) and ideall have a background in FMCG or manufacturing. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to be a business partner would he highly desirable.
