Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a primary school setting. You will play a key role in helping the student engage with learning, develop social skills, and build confidence within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide 1:1 support tailored to the needs of a student with ASD

* Assist with classroom activities, sensory breaks, and learning tasks

* Implement strategies to support communication, engagement, and emotional regulation

* Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver a personalised learning plan

* Create a structured, positive environment that helps the student succeed academically and socially

Required Experience

* Knowledge and experience of ASD and effective support strategies

* Previous classroom experience in a primary school setting

* A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to SEND support
