Position: Workshop Engineer
Location: Southampton
Rate/Salary:£35,000 - £38,000

We are working with a leading marine main dealer based on the Southcoast, looking for a Workshop Engineer to join the team at Southampton

As a workshop Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of marine engines and related systems. Their day-to-day duties typically involve

Duties and responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer:

• Perform routine maintenance and services on diesel engines
• Conduct diagnostics and pre-commissioning tasks
• Conducting fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems
• Overhaul, repair & engine rebuilds

Qualifications and requirement for the Workshop Engineer):

• Relevant qualification in Marine Engineering or equivalent experience
• Hold A full UK drivers Licence , must be able to commute to Southampton for work
• Strong knowledge of control systems
• Skilled in digital diagnostics
