Working for this accountancy firm specialising in tax returns, you’ll take charge of all things finance, including tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments and payroll to name a few things.

Salary – Circa £50,000 Per Annum

Location – Glasgow / Hybrid (Fridays at home)

Role Type – Permanent / Full Time / Mon- Thu (8-4 or 9-5) Fri (8-1 or 9-2)

The Role

You’ll oversee the financial health of the organisation, ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, and management. Your responsibilities include preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, monitoring cash flow, and managing resources.

You will have the opportunity to develop financial strategies, assess financial risks, ensure compliance, and provide insightful reports to senior management who will listen to and implement your ideas. Additionally, you'll supervise the finance team, guide tax and auditing services, and support R&D tax relief claims with HMRC, collaborating across departments to meet financial objectives.

We’re looking for either ACCA / CTA or ACA qualified individuals who have some team management experience. Working knowledge of R+D tax legislation is a bonus but non-essential although you should be interested in learning about it.
