A talented Interim Senior Procurement Officer is required to join a procurement and supply chain team in the public sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading procurement activities and establishing effective supplier relationships.

Description

Leading procurement activities within the Construction and FM Category function
Establishing and managing effective relationships with suppliers
Developing procurement strategies and plans
Negotiating contracts with suppliers
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations
Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
Managing risks associated with procurement activities
Reporting on procurement performance and outcomesProfile

A successful Interim Senior Procurement Officer should have:

Ideally MCIPS Qualified
Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
Able to work one day per week on site in London
Proven experience in managing end to end procurement activities
Strong negotiating skills
Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies
The ability to develop effective supplier relationships
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

£475-£490 per day Inside IR35 Umbrella Rate
