I am looking to speak with Intermediate/Assistant Estimators who would be interested in joining a reputable main contractor based in Oxfordshire.

The business is a design-led construction company committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget with a team composed of dedicated professionals who bring their expertise and innovation to every project.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

* Level 5 Construction Management // Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Surveying or related field (or equivalent work experience).

* Minimum of 2 years experience in construction estimating, preferably with a principal contractor.

* Proficiency in construction estimating software will be an advantage.

* Experienced in using Microsoft programs and software.

* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications

* High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and documentation

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, design teams, clients, and subcontractors.

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, problem solve and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet challenging deadlines.

* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and contracts (particularly the JCT Suite).

* Experience with value engineering and cost optimisation strategies is a plus.

* Professional certifications such as CIOB, RICS, or similar are desirable but not essential (subject to level of experience).
